Prancer Pie Update

The Mommy:  Prancer Pie has not eaten anything today.  This morning I started him on GNC's formula for Nutri-Cal. (2x a day)  He has also started a new course of antibiotics today.  One dose a day.  (Prancer did bite through my cuticle on my finger this morning.  Still strong.)

I opened the catio because it was 57 degrees Fahrenheit.  He eagerly went out twice.  The second time I made him come in before I had to run an errand.  He talked to me quite a bit about it.

After about 5 this evening, he retired to the bottom of the cat tree.  He is alert and he is bright-eyed.  Just no appetite and of course, lethargy.

The kind words and purrs are keeping us going.  Thank you so much.

Have a great Caturday.  Purrs, ya'll.

I can't believe I took this pic just one week ago. Prancer Pie and Princeton were playing.

Pee Ess - Sorry we are not visiting much right now.  Mommy is so tense that she is terrible company for herself and everybody else. - Princeton

I leave for 3 weeks out of country Monday with limited internet access but will do my best to check in. Warm healing energy

  21. I'm glad to hear Prancer was bright-eyed. I hope with the new antibiotics he'll start feeling better and then want to eat. I wonder if trying to tempt him with smellier foods would help in the interim. Biting you is a good sign because he's still got his spirit. Take good care!

  29. Dear Prancer, we hope you'll start eating! Our mom has been through a lot with Skootch [not eating]. When he's not eating, sometimes she can get him to eat some Fancy Feast, and lately he perks up with Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Chick Magnet [pouch food]. It's good because it has a lot of moisture, and it's grain-free.

Sending big, big purrs and prayers for you to start feeling better and eating again ASAP! (Clavamox while one of the favorite antibiotics has caused Clooney and Angel Inka not to eat.)

  31. Cloon's Human: Wellness Turkey & Duck Recipe in the yellow-gold foil package has lots of nice gravy in it compared to the other varieties, also once gravy is licked away, I mixed Heinz Chicken with broth baby food over the turkey pieces.
