Hopper Explosion

Pest.
Exterminator.
Hello furriends! Prancer here to talk about the sudden explosion of grasshoppers we have. OMC! They. Are. Efurrywhere! Hundreds of hoppers! They come into the house on mom and dad's shoes and pants legs. Then they are in my territory! Precious and I haf come up with a few games such as Hopper Hockey - where we slide it back and forth on the wood floor, and Bitey Til They're Deaded (just like it sounds). But, kittehz, as many as we haf exterminated - we just can't keep up. That's why we need all of you to help. If you see sum of the dastardly critters take it upon yourself to find new and unique games to help exterminate them. Well, gotta go kittehz, i'm tired from all this work. Purrs, ya'll.

Mommy hates hoppers; they FREAK her out!

Whatever you do Prancer, do NOT eat them...they make you foam.

  5. Hmmm- we have not got those things here wethinks but we do like pulling the heads off damselflies and swatting craneflies. These aren't big enough to skid over the floor. But we could lend you Mirsku-veli: if you gather enough of them on the floor he can crush them all with a big belly flop. Happy exterminating!

  6. OMC, it's kitty nirvana! We could only wish for such bounty! (Meanwhile, the mom says she'd be freaking out, even though grasshoppers are kind of cute. Just not in hordes.)

  10. Weve hardly seen any of those. TBT says there used be many in the yard, but that was before our time. But they sound like a lot of fun!

Oh Prancer excuse Momma she is terrified of big hoppers. Heck she is terrified of most any insect critter. But she hates hoppers especially. She saw one on her roses and freaked out. I can tell you that Boo,Ping,Jinx and Gracie would be very good hopper chasers, but I don't usually chase anything.Momma says she loves it when I play with something (rarely) because she sees glimpses of me as a kitten.

  15. Our mom is not scared of hoppers, but she is sure glad that she has not seen this infestation - maybe they're all staying south. YUCK!
