Mancat Monday - Sunpuddle Trubble

I was layin in that sunpuddle awhile ago!

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here. I haf a little poem fur you:

I laid on the floor in a little sunpuddle,
made me warm and sleepy and my thoughts began to muddle.
As the clock began to tick and the minutes went by,
my body grew cool and I was soon to learn why.
Sunpuddles are flighty, they like to move around,
no matter how hard you try, you can't hold them down!

Efurrybody hug your mancat this Monday. Purrs, ya'll.

Pee Ess - We almost forgot. It's World Cancer Day. Remember to purr, purray, and send pawsitive thoughts to those battling the awful "c" word.

  1. Pesky sunpuddles. You have to place yourself strategically, and then you have to move! This is one of the great unfair situations in our lives. Very creative of you to write a poem about it though, Prancer!

  9. Phantom too is always trying to stay in those sunpuddles. But with three days of heavy rain upon us, he will be hard put to find many sunbeams.

We join with on World Cancer Day in support and good thoughts for all those affected in some way by the evils of cancer.

  11. It is best to position oneself in full sunlight, not just a puddle, for maximum sunbathing fun.

We are purring for those with cancer. Let's hope there's a cure or prevention within our lifetime.

  12. Somebody needs to invent a conveyor belt to keep us positioned *just so* in the sun.

  16. That is a very good poem, Prancer. Somehow we gotta figure out how to keep those sun puddles from moving.
