Easy Like Sunday

Princess takin it easy a few hours after the BIG MOVE.

Hi furriends,  Mommy here.  Caturday night was our first night in the new house.  How was the move?  Well, Princeton didn't make the first trip over because he tore a hole in our box springs and went up into them.  Prancer Pie "sang" to us and panted between songs.  Precious didn't say a peep on the trip over, but remained UTB for the first 8 hrs.  Princess has been the surprise.  She hissed every time I looked at her on the car ride,  got out of the carrier, ate a can of food, pooped, drank water, and went to her heated cat cup and slept for two hours!  She has been the first one to check out the new digs and retrieve her toys.  There's something to be said for maturity and experience!

We will all be getting our easy on this Sunday and hope all our furriends are too.  Purrs, y'all.

Pee Ess - here's the view from under the light - think Princeton will look good up there?  He did eventually make the trip to the new place after the human sis went to his rescue.  She said that she had to sing to get him to quit meowing so much.  (he really likes Taylor Swift songs)
Antler chandelier (faux).

  1. The Big Thing here: It seems like a rather successful move. I've certainly read of many worse. I know the P's will get used to the new place and even enjoy sniffing out the new napping spots where they find the furniture in new places.

The Mews: Well WE know they will hate it fer a few days, (Princess excepted) but we all get used to new places once the familiar things are there. So you other guys, just accept it, find the PAWSITIVE aspects and adjust...

Demand lots of treats as long as you can.

  4. That sounds like a tiring move! But I am sure everyone will settle in very quickly. When we moved a little over 6 years ago, we only had to go 3 blocks and we had 0 adjustment time - we loved our new house WAY more than the old one and could not wait to explore!

  7. Glad that you are fine and I'm sending lights to your new home, a lovely future to you all there!
When I moved from Brazil with my family to live in Luxembourg ( Europe ), it was a tough experience for me.So many hours inside the place, so many sounds, different smells for an indoor kitty like me! We had to change 3 flights in that time until to get in our home in Luxembourg.
And now we are living in Belgium. This time we came by car and I was more easygoing, and the adaptation is going very well. Mom said this time we also have our furniture with us, so with familiar smells for me!
I wish you all the best!
    purrs and love

  24. That antler chandelier would be a great place for Allred to post himself, wait until some unsuspecting dog came by, dive off and attack.

A little time and you guys will all settle in and love your new home, I am sure of it.
