Hi kittehz! I'm postin from the kitteh tree this Caturday. Even though you can see some sun through the slats on the shades, (and it's over 50 degrees F) we are under a Winter Storm Warning. It's not snow this time, either. It's the dreaded ICE. We're hunkering down to wait and see what happens. Sometimes the weather guessers get it wrong. (Paws crossed!)
Meanwhile, you might not see much of us around. Last week the human sis' car gotted in an assy-dent and it is a total loss. She has the Mom's car and they are running around like crazy getting all the appropriate paperwork done and looking for the human sis a new set of wheels. She says she is "pooped". She doesn't really smell like pooped, but you never know with these humans.
We hope all our furriends are having a great Caturday. Stay warm and purrs, ya'll.

ReplyDeleteAt least it sounds like sis is not hurt too terribly if she is running around and stuff! My human's car got totaled a couple of years ago (nobody was hurt then either except for the cars), and she remembers how much trouble it was with paperwork and stuff. She DID get a better car out of the deal, though!

Hope your human sis is all right. Totaling a car is a lot of paperwork. Let the peeps handle the paperwork while you stay home and warm.

ReplyDeleteAn ice storm ? Yikes. You know it is way warmer here, 2°C. Too warm. But you can maybe catch us on catiocam as we are getting outside a bit more. Now you take it easy and look after your pooped Mommy.

ReplyDeleteWe have the cold and snow and sleet coming in this weekend. We are excited but Mom is worried because the girl grandbipeds have a big dance competition downtown this weekend and the ride there and back could be very bad. Mom went this morning and is supposed to go back for the whole day tomorrow. The weather report doesn't make for good driving tomorrow.
Hope that ice stays away from you.

And then, -9 degrees for the low. We say ENUF already!

ReplyDeleteWe are real sorries about the assy-dent (well, as long as the sis's assy wasn't what gotted dented, I guess it isn't soooo bad). The Human says I almost used some bad words there, but you know what I mean, right? Hey--you look super comfy up there on your nice perch. *We* don't need no silly cars! We sure hope your human sis only got pooped and not hurted. it's in the 60s here today. We are supposed to get rain, then ice and then 3 to 5 inches of snow.
