Thursday's Toad Strangler

PRINCETON'S LOOK OF DISGUST

Hi kittehz.  You know what I hate?  When it rains, rains, and rains!  We are expecting up to 4 inches of rain today!  (let's hope not!)  I'll be spending my day in my kitteh tree.  We have a roof on our catio, but it's just not fun to be out there when it's yucky.

Mommy says even though we've had an unseasonably cool (for us) and wet July, our plants and trees don't like it.  They've all got powder mildew and had to be sprayed.  Paws crossed that they decide to pull out of it.

I hope the rest of our furriends have a nice, sunny, Thursday.  Enjoy!  Purrs, y'all.

  1. You do get pretty extreme weather there - we are relieved to be here! From your title we were looking forward to a bit of amphibian slaughter.

  2. Oh we in California are envious of the rains you are having. We are in drought and so we might as well resort to kitty rain dance soon.

  3. Paws crossed for your plants! Ours are having the opposite problem - it's too dry here! We live in southern California and Emma and Buster live up north, so this drought is covering a huge area!

  8. It is very hot today here (for the UK) It's 80F here which is stifling as there isn't even a hint of breeze. To make Mum laugh there was a knock on the door and it was a man wanting to service our boiler!! He came in and after he'd finished he had to turn the heating on so he could be sure it worked OK!!

  17. Dear Princeton,

I prefer no-rain too. It makes my fur fluffy. I hope your trees get better, and I hope the rain stops soon so you can have cat-naps in the sun!

  20. It has been crazypants rain here, too. Our "cold front" means the high temp was 92 degrees. We were hoping for something a little more substantial that allowed some window whiffies.
