Tuxie Tuesday

PRUDIE-LOAF
There's been a lot of "loafin" going on at our house the last couple of days.

Seems that wind isn't the only thing whippin down the plains here in Oklahoma.
In the past 24 hours  alone we've had torrential rain, flooding, wind, storms, and snow.
The catio has been closed for 2 days!
On the up side, all roads leading out of our home were closed due to severe flooding
and all the humans stayed home!
(It's a good thing the humans received new lap blankets for Christmas, cause that's where our kitteh bums have been!)

Some roads will start reopening today and our extended holiday will be over.
Back to routine on this chilly Tuxie Tuesday.
Hope efurrybody has a terrific day and remember:  TUXIES RULE!
Purrs, y'all.

  1. We have heard your weather has been nasty - we are going to instruct Ă„iti to get a weather app for her phone with OK on it. I would offer you gals a sauna place but there appear to be some kitties already there, hogging the place. So keep warm and dry dudes.

  5. Oh my word what horrible rain and storms. Thank goodness you are all dry and safe. My mom says she doesn't remember a fall as wet and stormy and weird as this past one and now it is carrying over into Winter.

  7. I'm sorry to hear about your weather! It seems like that nasty winter storm has been hitting everyone. We got over an inch of sleet here in Michigan last night. I hope the weather cooperates and you can get back on your catio soon! You are pawsome. :)

  8. Nothing wrong with loafing if loafing is all you can do! Stay safe and comfy!

  9. Loafing is the only thing to do when the weather is bad. I hope it improves soon.

  12. That sounds awful. We hope the weather improves (it would be terrible if you ran out of supplies...).

  16. And to think we were complaining about 6 weeks of general drizzle... We'll keep it if you keep YOUR weather away from us. WOW!!!

  17. We've had crazy weather here in GA too! We had a tornado warning on Christmas Eve, and the spinning clouds were right above us! It has rained so much too, that the river flooded! Things are finally starting to get back to normal though... well as normal as a 75 degree December can be! MOL! Happy Tuxie Tuesday!!!

  18. Dear Cat Friends,

Wow, it is good that you have a warm den-house, and people to hunt for you! We had an earthquake last night, but I don't think that compares to what you have!

We are sorry that we haven't been writing more. We are in a little cabin in the snow and there is a lack of something called "wifi" here. We have "not much bandwidth", and I blame this on our person. But thank you for visiting us, and we enjoyed catching up on your blog today when our person did the thing called "getting online"!

    Cobi

  20. We are happy that you were not directly affected by the flooding. Getting an extended holiday with lots of lap time sounds like purrfection! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
