Mancat Monday or Earthquake Recap

Hello and Happy Monday! Prancer Pie here to tell you that yes, we are all ok and yes we felt an earthquake. The epicenter was bout 130 miles (gif or take) from our town. It was 3 miles deep. That's why we could feel it from so far away. There was sum structural damage in the town near the epicenter, but efurrybody was ok.  We usually has bad stormies and tornadoes. Those things we can deal wif.  This totally rips the rug from under us. But as a manly mancat, I took it all in stride. You can't let these things shake you. Hahameow!

Me, Prancer taken it easy after the quake.
Efurrybody haf a pawsome Monday. We are expectin rain and boomies again. Purrfect snoozin weddur.
Purrs. ya'll.

  2. Oh no, you were in the earthquake too! We are glad you are okay. It must have been terrifying - nearly as bad as sitting on the sofa when Mirsku decides to belly flump on it. And we loved your comment about his napping and letting it all show: he does that a lot and we have got used to it. Wethinks he's trying to show off what once used to be there.........

  16. Oh, thank goodness you are all OK!! Our Mommy felt an earthquake years ago while she was on the lower floor in her Mom and Dad's house. She said it felt like she was in an elevator that had a hard stop. At first she asked her family if they felt anything and they said no so she thought she might of had a dizzy spell. The next mornings paper had a story on the front page about the quake so she was relieved. There is a fault that runs from Reading and goes through Doylestown then into New Jersey. We live about 20 miles away but did not feel anything when others felt the recent quake from Virginia and was felt all the way up through New York. They are now blaming it on the natural gas drilling.
Oklahoma has really had some harsh weather so we are happy you have made it through safely=^Y^=
