A snowy pawprint. Heh-heh. |
Hi furriends, we still haven't lost power! We thought you might enjoy some of our ice/snow pics. We know this isn't a lot for many of you, but it is for us Okies. The grand total was 5 inches. 1 inch of ice and 4 inches of snow.
The Mommy got tired of all our whining and meowing at the catio door and finally unlocked it, even though it was a brisk 25 degrees F. She thought we would just dart out and back in again. WE showed her! We walked and rolled in the snow had that blown under the catio roof. We stalked birdies that had ventured out for foods (even though they were on the other side of the catio wire). Then we had a big meal and went to sleep.
This was our first snow experience and we loved it! We hope the Mommy lets us out again tomorrow. Until then, we are sated and sound asleep.
Happy Caturday efurrybody and purrs, y'all.
Pee Ess - You didn't think we'd let you leave without a little mancat feast for the eyes, did you?

That is pretty snow!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky! We kitties here have never seen snow in our entire lives!!!
What kind of pawprint IS that? It looks like a bear or something!!! YOU look handsome as always!
ReplyDeleteI think you kitties are a little crazy! The closest I ever got to snow was a huge pile of hail on the balcony at our old house one year... and I was scared of it!
ReplyDeleteYou guys be careful, that cold can get to you real quick, we gots our winter furs on and it's still COLD, only about 20 minutes at a time and we are barking our heads off for Mom!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Pees' you sure got a nice pillow to lay on!
We've been reading about the terrible ice storms and are glad you got some fun out of it!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans

ReplyDeleteWow, Prancer. We don't have snow here, so that's amazing that you got to play in it on the catio!
ReplyDeleteThat looks very cold - hope no humans need to go out until after the ice has gone. Stay warm.

All we can say is brrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteYou guys were brave to venture out into that stuff. We don't touch it. It's cold here...no snow...yet....
ReplyDeleteThe grass looks very pretty with the ice on it. We don't get much snow here.
ReplyDeleteThe snow and ice look so pretty, but Mom says all that ice can bring lots of problems. We are all very jealous that you got snow and we didn't. We might have some snow showers tomorrow, but we want some real snow.
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
We are sending warm toots your way
ReplyDeletePibble sugars
The pittie pack
You all stay warm ok?
ReplyDeleteYou three are so brave. We are supposed to get that same weather tomorrow, and some of us might venture out for a second or two on the catio, but then we'll be right back at the door begging to come in. Those of us who know about snow don't like to walk in it. Hope that stuff melts soon, and things get back to normal. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteWe got some snow this morning and I dragged my mom-person out for a little walk :)
ReplyDeleteNow is the snow gone again because it has been raining a lot :(
