Princeton leisurely bathes himself. |
Princeton here, I finally get to be back in a post! I have pestered the Mommy relentlessly this week. I'm just trying to help ease her worries about Prancer Pie. Heh-Heh.
The Mommy - Prancer Pie has not done well today at all. Yesterday he did so well! His abscess is healing, but he continues to turn up his nose at food. He's drinking water, but has been hiding out all day long. I thought we were over the hump, but I'll be contacting the V-E-T again today. He had told me earlier this week that if he wasn't well by Friday, he's changing his aunty-biotics. At least Prancer Pie is resting. I am a worried wreck. We'll update on any changes. Thank you for the purrs and kind thoughts.
Happy Friday and purrs, ya'll.
Purrs purrs purrs. Come on PP, dude - just a little food. We have paws crossed for you - and will be looking out for reports. And purrs for everyone else in all this worry.
ReplyDeleteOh no, Prancer has to eat to get better. Ask your mom to ask the vet about Hill's A/D canned food. It's packed with good stuff and is hard to resist. It helps with recovery. Prescription only however.

That's a bad spot for an abscess, and we can't say we blame Prancer for not feeling so well. We're sending lots and lots of purrs his way!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear that Prancer has had a bit of a setback. Let's hope it is just that and he is simply sore from where his abscess was removed. Please keep us posted.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
OH I am surprised and shocked to read this. I thought he would have an uneventful recovery. Prancer Pie, hurry on back to the dreaded v-e-t and get those other aunty-biotics right away. And eat dear one. I hope Squirrel Queen's suggestion of foods is available there.
ReplyDeleteLove and kisses sweet Prancer Pie.
We're sorry to hear about Prancer Pie still not eating and hope the vet can give him something to perk up his appetite.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Say it isn't so. We hate that P.P. is not improving. The 24/7 purr-a-thon continues. Princeton, however, you are looking fit, and so cute sitting there having your baff. Glad your mommy doesn't have to worry about you or Precious. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry there's a slight set back in PP's recovery. We hope his appetite will pick up and he'll start eating again.
ReplyDeleteWe're sending purrs for his full recovery!
Oh dear, we hope it is as simple as a different antibiotic. Sometimes antibiotics turn us off to food, could be that too. All paws crossed.

Did Prancer Pie get a pain shot or a pain patch? That tends to kill the appetite pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe're purring that all will be OK...and Princeton, lay off your poor Mommy, for Cod's sake!
