Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here on your Mancat Monday. We hope all our furriends had a great weekend. We are still keeping our East coast furriends on our purrs list.
We got an award last week from the beautiful CALLIE. Thanks so much, Callie! Be sure to drop by and visit her. This award says we are supposed to tell 7 things about our self. Well here goes:
- I like lettuce. When Mommy is makin salad, she lets me gnaw around on some.
- I woke the Mommy up last week by bunny kickin her hand under the covers. MOL!
- I enjoy the little fan blowing on my furs, year-round and Mommy turns it on fur me even when it's cold.
- I LUV nacho cheese Doritos. I DO NOT eat off-brand. (Mommy tried that)
- I am a Mommy's boy - and proud of it!
- Princess is the only kitteh allowed to groom me. Period.
- OK, this one's a big secret, so don't tell everybody - Mommy sings things like "Unforgettable" to me and I come running! I love fur her to sing to me!
These are fun and we sumtimes forget how much fun they are. Now, we are supposed to pass this along, but we always seem to be bringin up the rear on these awardies. So feel free to pick it up cuz we luv to read fun facts bout our furriends.

ReplyDeleteWow--these were like, the BEST FACTS EVER. Now I'm bummed the Human never sings to me. She says she'll start if I want. Hmmmm. I can see why you wouldn't want Precious grooming you--I'd be a little skeered too. The Human wants to know if your Mommy tosses the lettuce you've been gnawing on back in the salad? Cause prolly she would.

ReplyDeleteMost excellent paw positioning and facts. I too have been known to nibble on greenery (I ate a brussel sprout!) and Tessie-kilpikonna's lettuce often gets my teeth marks on it, hehehe. Äiti also sings a little song at tea time to us - well, she used to sing it more as she knew it gave Stran the signal that he would finally get fed: he was always asking for food all the time so he thought she could help him cope with the song. We now just put our paws over our ears as the singing is worse than a screaming squirrel. And as you know, we know what that sounds like!

ReplyDeleteYou are very mancatly indeed. It sounds like your person knows how to care for you (serve you) properly. I am glad because this is very important.
Perhaps you can answer a question for me... I was standing in the kitchen last night staring at my person with big-brown-begging-eyes because she was making something called "sandwich".
The Cat named Jack came up to me and started rubbing against my body. This was very irritating because I was focussed on making big-brown-please-please-please-eyes, and his tail kept getting in my face.
But the sandwich wasn't falling to the ground, so I decided to be nice to the Cat named Jack and pay attention to him instead.
When my dog friends push against my body it is because they want to play. So I bounced on Jack-Cat's head.
But he hissed and ran away.
Why did he do this? Why did he not want to play after all that?

Great things to knows about yous Prancer! And the singing...truth be told my Mommy has a awful voice, when she sings, me runs and the hairy slobbery sisters howl!
