UPDATE: 11:36 am Central - I'm still a little stunned at the turn of events here, but Princess had to be helped to the Bridge at about 10:30 this morning. We took her in because of a loose tooth and swelling. It turned out (after x ray) that our sweet tortico girl lost her tooth due to jawbone loss. Cancer had totally eradicated the left side of her jawbone. I was shocked to see the xray. Bless her heart, she never complained about pain and ate her breakfast this morning (albeit not much). She was down to 6 pounds and some ounces. That was down 1/2 pound from last year. I held her in my arms til the end. She complained noisily by growling and the last thing she left us with was some awful flatulence. I always knew she would do that until the end.
Thanks for the kind words and Mommy is gonna go lose herself in some chocolate and tears. Our sweet girl would have been 19 this spring.
Pee Ess - our internet was down last night shortly after we posted. So we didn't get to visit. XOXO
So very sorry to hear this tragic news. Sending love and purrs. xxx

Gasp! We are so very very sorry to hear your shocking news. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. She was quite the girl not to complain. I know it's very hard to tell in cats tho, and I remember well when Mario had his tooth problems. Never a sign until he hid in the closet by himself one day - then I knew something was very wrong. I'm just so very, very sorry you have this shocking turn of events. HUGS

Dearest fambly do not be sad my new wifey Sniffie met Princess at the bridge as i made room for another new arrival. Sniffie too went from cancer so we thought it would be better for her to go. There's a special place for those who had cancer when they left their loved ones where they get special attention and pampering. She should arrive at my mansion soon where she will be able to rest before her welcoming banquet. She will be free to stay here as long as she wishes, though every kitteh has their own mansion. Well, most... i had a family mansion waiting for me. And Sniffie and Inigo. Lol
