PRESLEE |
First, we heard the Mommy use HBO words, whine, and wail. Kittehz, I've never seen the Mommy so upset. She says it's because of something called RINGWORMS. Sounds like fun to me. I've deaded several woolly worms on the catio already!
Wednesday evening, it wasn't fun at all. There were baths given and medicines administered. (yes, the Mommy was still whining and wailing) This has to go on for a month, kittehz! Mommy says I was a stinker about the whole thing, but Prudence was a little angel. Pffft! Silly girlcats!
As if that wasn't bad enough, then there was a thunderstorm and the catio got closed early. If this isn't a tale of woe, I don't know what is.
Here's hoping tomorrow is better. The baths don't happen again until next week, but the medicine happens every night. Mommy says she can't wait to visit that circus again. She did end up bleeding a little from her forehead. *giggle*
Have a happy Friday kittehz!
Purrs, y'all!
Oh no! Poor Mommy...and poor you!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh, how NOT fun! I guess ringworms aren't the same as the tasty wooly worms on the catio.
ReplyDeleteDat doesn't sound like no fun.
ReplyDeleteOMC, that doesn't sound fun at all, especially not for your human. Bleeding from the forehead? We hope you are a little better behaved next time... or that maybe she can get a little more help to hang onto you so it goes quicker.
ReplyDeleteHow in the wide world did you kittehz manage getting that particular worm? It must have been lying dormant and WHAMMO! Your poor mommy. "I would wail and whine and moan and call out piteously were it I", my mommy just said. Isn't she impressive with her 45 cent words there!? Calm down mommy. NO one is impressed. Have a sniff o' nip.

Oh no! Your poor mum! When my dad's mum died, my humans took on her 9 cats, and then a few days later one had 7 kittens. The ladycat was semi feral so mum put her in a chicken house with a nice big run so she couldn't hide them somewhere. All the babies got ringworm and mum had to treat them every day. She thinks the ringworm must have been dormant in the wooden house and the babies got it playing around in there. They all got better and found their forever homes. Mum kept the tiniest who was Kitty Yumbum, and 13 years later we came to live with when she was pining because all her brothers and sisters had died over the years.
