I've been busted, kittehz.
I was hiding under the blanket, but Dad found me out.
I was actually waiting for Mommy.
She and I have a hot date with this bed.
I'm sorry to have to say that she finally has to have surgery today.
She has struggled with her old injury for years.
No, it's not her leg. It's where she sits - it's her tailbone!
Mommy can hardly sit or ride in the car anymore and so it has come time to fix it.
The doctors will patch her up and I will see to her needs - you know, like bringing her toys in bed,
making "biscuits" on her and giving her lots of kitteh kisses.
She will be well in a snap. (actually Mommy will be out of commission for about 8 weeks.)
We hope to get some great blogging fodder out of this,
but we're not sure how Mommy feels about that...

Our paws and fingers are all crossed that the tailio bone gets FIXED and all is well so that your nurses can perform full duties with great competence. We hope it's not too painful and uncomfortable for Mommy, and it sorts it all so that the future is painfree. Will she be manxified we wonder?

Mom and I are absolutely positively TRULY purring and praying for your mommy. That is a painful and hard to bear situation but she WILL get through and be all the better. Especially with toys to help and great biscuit making! Love and purrs and snuggles from us.

Ouch! That sounds painful. We are hopeful your mom's surgery will go great and she will be entertained (by you) while she recuperates.

Take good care of your Mom Prude. It sounds like a long recovery, so we're sure she will need some healing purrs & cuddles from you. Our mom broke her tailbone years ago after bouncing down some stairs on her butt, so she can sympathize about the lasting pain. We hope your mom feels great once she heals.
