Here's my submission for Sunday Selfies.
I was happy because I had the house to myself while the other kits were on the catio.
Mom snapped my selfie, we had a cuddle session and life was good -
until every kitty came in from the catio. Pfffft!
In other mews...the hots (and humids).
have been here for a month already.
The humans whine relentlessly about it.
Please don't forget the other little critters in the heat
outside and please leave water out.
We have water out plus a nice pond for cool drinks.

Well done reminding people to place water outside for passing visitors. This matters such a lot on hot and humid days.

We had the hot and humids last weekend, when we were in Houston! I was kind of glad to come home to the not-quite-as-hot and dry.
ReplyDeleteLooking good HRH Precious! We Tuxedo's should get more time, being royalty. I do hope you sent the rest of the family away when they came in, or retire to the patio yourself, maybe, to continue the royal pampering?

It's been steadily getting hotter and hotter here, too. I get a little uncomfortable with the increased heat, but luckily mom and dad turn on the a/c when it gets that bad. It's dad mostly, as mom would keep it mid-eighties in here 24/7 if dad didn't complain about the heat when he gets home.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely selfie, Precious. I have a large bird bath in the garden which I keep topped up with filtered water. Eric and Flynn used to think it was their outdoor drinking bowl.

ReplyDeleteSnuggles are great and thanks for the water reminder. We have a birdbath, but not all critters can reach it, so we have to remember to put water on the ground, too. - Tom x
