Finally Friday

PRANCER PIE

Mommy can't believe she has made it an entire week since her little man went OTRB.  We won't lie furriends, it hasn't been pretty.  Mommy is pretty much a snot factory.   This is how it's gonna be for her, one day at a time.  This weekend is his debut on the CB calendar, that brought about a whole new set of waterworks for her.  Thank you efurryone, for all the sweet words, thoughts, purrs, purrayers, donations, cards, emails, etc.  Each and every one makes us feel special.

Happy Friday furriends.  Purrs, ya'll.

Pee Ess - Rest assured that Precious and I are taking extra pains to keep Mom's hands and mind busy.  Bwahaha! - Princeton

  6. I was so sorry that this happened. You're so right about one day at a time although it can be so painful. Sometimes, it's one moment at a time. Missing them hurts. Allow yourself all the time you need. We're thinking of you.

  7. Everyone processes grief differently, and in their own time. With Chum and Annie, I'd say it took me a good 18 months to get to the point where I was okay, though even now something still can trigger the grief. It's just that way--no one really 'gets over' losses. Someone on the CB made the comment, a couple of years ago, that we just become accustomed to the absence of the person/Being. She was right.

  8. We all react in different ways when we are grieving - just take one day at a time and you will reach the end of the dark tunnel and come out into daylight when you're ready.

  9. Dude, we miss the guy too. We keep looking to the skies to see his tail waving, but nothing there yet, A few bright stars are there though.
We have been thinking of your Mom and hoping you and the tuxie terror are taking care of her. You, Princeton, in particular, need to make sure there are sufficient tissues NOT shredded so she can wipe up some of that snotty stuff.
    Purrs dudes.

  10. Our own view now is grief is a life long process and it becomes woven into each of our personalities and lives. Each of us has different reactions and responses, none of them are wrong. Emotional woundings take a long long time to heal and can be easily pierced by triggers. I read that tears generated by grief are different than normal tears, they cleanse which is what the body needs. Prancer is missed by each one of us and we share your sorrow, and we hope that one day soon, your sadness will not be as hard to bear as it is right now.
