Mancat Monday Suck-Up

PRINCETON
Kittehz, I'm pulling out all the stops, to make Mom furget about the
eReader power cord.

She said that the 5:14 a.m. face-washing I gave her wasn't going to help my case.

She's a tought nut to crack, that Mommy of mine.

Happy Mancat Monday furriends, and purrs, ya'll.

  1. Hmmm, maybe there will have to be some tarting on her lap when she is awake ? She will melt though, and not be angry with you for long. In the meantime, don't compromise your principles too much - Precious might notice.

  2. We agree with King P--show off those waistcoat buttons and your Mommy will be PUTTY in your paws!

putty = squishy cat litter stuff

  3. Well if that doesn't do it I don't know what will. Maybe, Maybe you could make a cool artsy thing out of TP. I bet she would love that and forget all about the power cord.

  4. Your human didn't appreciate getting her face washed at the crack of dawn?! What an ingrate she is! You totally helped her - that meant she did not have to wash her face when she got up since it was already clean!

  5. Man, those humans are such hard work! She should be showering you in tunas!

  9. IT can be so hard, Princeton. There you are, up early and pulling out all the stops in face-washing and she doesn't appreciate it. Honestly!

  11. We missed what happened with the e-reader cable, but we can guess! :-D

Thank you so much for stopping by, particularly since your mom is dealing with her grief and probably doesn't feel like doing much visiting at this time...We're not back to normal, but are starting to feel better, paws crossed.

  12. Have you tried sucking your Mom's hair - just think of the saving she'll make on shampoo.

  16. Princeton, hope she forgives you soon. We know how hard it is to function when our mom is mad at any of us. Napping and staying under the radar is probably the right move for now. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  20. Princeton I don't know why the 5:14am facewash wasn't comforting. How about tryin the 3:35am pouncing on the toes? It sure gets my Mom up.

  21. Don't worry Princeton, she won't be able to stay mad with your adorable face looking at her.

  22. Dear Princeton,

That is a very cute face. Do not worry, our Cat Named Jack has eaten the following: One iPod headphone cord, one iPod charger cord, one set of laces on our littlest person's favorite hoodie, our littest person's art project, our littlest person's hair elastic, and every single plastic bag that the people forget and leave anywhere that a Cat can reach (that includes up on top of the high cupboard). And all that is only in the past few months.

And the people forgive him, every single time. (Even when they have to clean up his messy poops afterwards.)

I am sure that your person will forgive you too, especially with that super-cute face. It certainly melted my person's heart! (Perhaps you could teach me how to do that cute face? It appears to be very useful.)

  23. How could 5:14 am face washings not charm her? Your Mom really is tough. Maybe you could dunk a toy mouse in the water bowl and then bring it to her in bed instead? We find that effective for getting lots of late night attention.

  24. How could your Mom not like a face wash by you?
Think of the time you saved her as she will not have to wash it when she gets up!
Gee, your Mom IS tough :o

  25. I bet a nice ol’ hairball in the slipper would make her forget! HAH!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Maybe a full body wash would help...then again, probably not.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh dear, you really do need to show that sweet tummy and maybe your toesies to help make her forget.

  28. Yeah what is that with the pawrents? We go to be nice and they get a bit huffy. I mean really! The Nite is to Play right!

  29. Princeton,
Can mes suggest yous try bringing your Mommy a deaded mouse? That might makes her less mad.

  30. Maybe you should have dried her face at 5:26 am by rubbing you fur against her face! Try that tomorrow morning!
