ReplyDeleteHow cool! I think there is someplace a couple hours east of here that has balloon festivals - my human would love to go.
ReplyDeleteLewis and Aila used to have a balloon fiesta in their old city in England, and these photos made Äiti remember how wonderful the event was. But it was pretty scary when the wind would blow the balloons close to the houses and you could hear the roar of the burners !

ReplyDeleteThe balloons make a lovely sight. There is a festival held near us, but not every year. Once a long time ago mum was in bed early in the morning and heard a strange noise. She ran out in the garden to see what was going on and a balloon was just skimming over the top of the roof. Luckily she had thought to grab her dressing gown on the way out because all the people in the balloon were looking down at her

Totally love those balloons! Once Mom won a balloon ride on a radio station but was too chicken (did someone mention chicken!) to go on it.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! We have hot air balloons that fly over our yard when the weather is nice. Sometimes the peeps call down to us and we get confused about where the voices are coming from. Enjoy.

Being able to take a hot air balloon ride is on Mom's bucket list. She did get to attend the "glow" one time when she was visiting a friend out of town. She'll be anxious to see more photos.
