Mom missed getting my Sunday Selfie up,

but I was determined to get my pic up for Tuxie Tuesday.

If it had been a tad lower, you could've seen up my snooter.  Ha!

For those that asked - the earthquake was felt here, but our humans slept

through it!

I'm just hanging out here on the catio, working on my dangle techniques.

The weather here is very warm.  86F (30C)
We've had lots of thunder showers, so the humidity is very high, too.
It's purrfect catio lounging weather.

The Mommy doesn't share our enthusiasm, though.
She's such a "stick in the mud".

she convalesces.

or taste-test any of her foodables.

I'm close by if Mom needs an extra cuddle.

Seriously, Mommy really appreciates all the well wishes and comments.

She is doing quite well and hasn't missed any of our brekkie/dinner times.

There's been a lot of "loafin" going on at our house the last couple of days.

Seems that wind isn't the only thing whippin down the plains here in Oklahoma.
In the past 24 hours  alone we've had torrential rain, flooding, wind, storms, and snow.
The catio has been closed for 2 days!
On the up side, all roads leading out of our home were closed due to severe flooding
and all the humans stayed home!
(It's a good thing the humans received new lap blankets for Christmas, cause that's where our kitteh bums have been!)

Some roads will start reopening today and our extended holiday will be over.
Back to routine on this chilly Tuxie Tuesday.

She says our cool days are gone for a short time.

Tired Tuxie Tuesday

Kittehz!  Let me tell you what a terrible day Monday was.

::slaps kitteh paw to forehead dramatically::

It all started early in the morning. (before breakfast!)

We were snuggled in and the electricity went off.

This caused the smoke/fire alarms to shriek unabatedly beep twice.

The temp quickly dipped below our required 70 degrees (F).

We clung to each other for body heat, waiting together for the bitter end,

huddled under the bed hissing and growling at each other.

Many hours later about an hour later, the repairman arrived.

Seems that we had a bird fly into our power line and interrupted our service.

The repairman took a long pole and removed what was left of the bird
and restored our service elebenty hour later promptly.

We didn't even get to sniff the remaining fried bird.
Mommy spent the remainder of the morning trying to "smooth our ruffled feathers".
MOL!

I'm taking my tiny tiara off my darling tuxie head and going to spend all day in the bed, recuperating.
That's how this TUXIE RULES!
