Thank Baste the rain has finally stopped.

The catio is open and the birds are taunting us with their warbling.

In this photo, my attention has been caught by a meadowlark.

If only Mr. Meadowlark could be INSIDE the catio, then the fun could begin...

New Year, New Nanner

Good mews!  

Santa came to our house and left all new nip toys!

Mom had us convinced that we were not going to get anything.

Good thing Santa decides who's naughty or nice and Mommy doesn't. Ha!

I'm giving one of the new nanners a real working over.

We've had to play inside (no catio!) as it has been very cold here in Oklahoma.

The next three days it won't even be above freezing.  Brrrrr!

We know lots of our furriends are used to these temps, but us Okie kittehz aren't.

(The Mommy is really whiny about it too.)

I hope you all have a wonderful new year and 2018 is filled with lots of happiness.

Sunday Selfie - Prudie & BalloonFest

 Hi furriends and happy Sunday!

(It's actually Saturday night here.)

I'm going to make this fast because we're expecting big thunder boomies shortly and the Mom wants this post done ASAP!

This weekend was the big BalloonFest in our town, but the wind was just too much

for them to go up.  

Bummer.

Staying true to form,

 our Mom stole pics from friends on FB to show ya'll.  MOL!

They really are so amazing to watch.

Maybe next year Mother Nature will be more agreeable.

Sunday Selfie - Prudie's Gift

Hi kittehz!  It's me, Prudie.

We kind of missed out last Sunday because the Mom's computer died.

It needed a new hard drive.

Mom whined about it, but got it fixed and back home on Wednesday.

In other exciting mews, a thing called our "septic tank"  messed up and

the Mommy nearly had an apoplectic fit.

You should have seen her!

She used some really bad words and even cried a little.
We kittehz comforted her and I even made her a special gift:

No words were even needed. MOL!

Hi kits!   This is me relaxing in the sauna.

 MOL!

Not really.  We don't have a sauna, but that's what it feels like outside.

The "hots" have definitely come to us Okie (Oklahoman) cats.

For the most part, we've been staying inside, but I did stray out one day this week

and had Mom snap a pic of me.

Mommy drags us back in after a short time and makes us cool off.

She's such a worry-wart!

She brought home new toys this week!

Hmm?  Pretty cute, aren't they?

I also wanted to share the rainbow we had after Friday's thunderstorms.

Mom said she could see both ends of the rainbow.

There are so many things this Sunday Selfie says.

1.  Mom's cleaning, all kittehz on the tree! (cause the tree is in the middle of the room)

2.  Preslee obviously got to the tree first because he's on top.

3.  Precious thinks she's too cool for these young whippersnappers.

The cat tree had to stay in the middle of the floor for half a day, because Mom couldn't move it with all of us on it.

It's a good thing I set the timer for this selfie, because I dozed off.

Dozing is all we've done since this "Arctic" cold front came to visit. We even got snow!

The catio has been closed most days and we don't even miss it.

Today it climbed above freezing and next week the warms will return.

We can hardly wait!

white foot sticking out.

There's a reason for this pose - fall has finally came to our little corner of Oklahoma!

We've abandoned the catio for the warmth of our cat beds and the warmth of the human's laps.

I'm just hanging out here on the catio, working on my dangle techniques.

The weather here is very warm.  86F (30C)
We've had lots of thunder showers, so the humidity is very high, too.
It's purrfect catio lounging weather.

The Mommy doesn't share our enthusiasm, though.
She's such a "stick in the mud".
