Flowery Friday

Blooms on the ground
Hi kittehz!  Doesn't the above pic look like popped popcorn on the grass?
It's not. It's flowers from a Catalpa tree.
These trees get large, very fast and this one is huge and old.
This fall the catalpas will produce large flat bean pods.

Did we mention that this pawticular catalpa tree is located in an old cemetery?
(The Mom was out in the country putting flowers on her great grandparents' graves.)
Mommy loves old cemeteries and doesn't find them creepy at all.
She's weird like that.

There were still lots of flowers on the tree, too.
It was almost like snow falling when the wind blew through the branches.
Mommy just realized she didn't get any pics of the actual tree.
Bwahaha!

Now, for your gratuitous kitty pic:
Me!

Happy Flowery Friday furriends!
Purrs, y'all.

Pee Ess - we are all ok after the tornado outbreak and nasty weather.  It was located well to the west of us.  We do have wicked weather around until early next week, though.  **sighs**

Flowery Friday

Hi kittehz and Happy Flowery Friday!  So far, our fall has been mild and we've had lots of rain and our hibiscus plant is still blooming beautifully.  We thought we would share them with you this Friday.

And of course we have a gratuitous kitteh shot:

PRUDENCE & PRESLEE
Yes, these two still go at  it everyday.  Gotta love that kitten energy.

Happy Flowery Friday and purrs, y'all.

Pee Ess - The flower pics are courtesy of our human aunt.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  Yesterday, Mommy went to the greenhouses near our home to see what they had.  Lots had sold on Mother's Day, but there were many pretty things left to see.  She ultimately bought tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, but was sorely tempted by those geraniums.  She just loves the way they smell!

Now what you really came here for:  ME!  If I look a little cranky, it's cuz I didn't get to gnaw on those little pepper plants!   I hope efurrybody has a great Friday.  Purrs, y'all.

Pee Ess - we had more severe storms here, but once again we dodged the bullet.
