Thankful On Thursday

UPDATE:  9:10 Thursday morning - The hospital called and Titus spiked a fever overnight Wednesday night and will not be getting to come home.

That alone is a lot to be thankful for, but Titus is finally better too!

He's getting out of the doggy hospital Thursday evening.

(Titus was admitted to OSU vet hospital, intensive care unit, in Stillwater OK, Monday night.)
(Our Mommy stayed with the human sister in Stillwater.)

Titus loves everybody and his intern student was not exempt from slobbery kisses!
We will share more about Titus' big diagnosis at a later date. It is scary stuff.
 He also had pneumonia but is much improved.
We want to thank everybody for the POTP.  It worked!

 For the record, I helped Mommy with her gift last weekend, too!

She said she was very thankful for such great helpers.

I helped until this gift bag had to go into the trash after Mommy took the gift out.

(Those gift bag handles aren't as sturdy as they used to be.  Heh-heh!)

Prancer Pie  (with a little fang)

Just to prove that things are slowly returning to normal around here I decided to have a nap on the couch and show a little fang.

My blood test results were:  elevated white counts due to the abcsess, my nasty thyroid problem needed slight meds adjustment, and liver and kidneys are purrfect!

I have eat some, drank lots, and made a poo!  (Mommy is nutso about my bathroom habits, what a perv!)

We are thankful this Thursday for my health and for the thoughtfulness of our furriends.

Hi furriends and Happy Thursday!  We may not make many visits til tomorrow.  The peeps abandoned us all day and half the night!  They said they were going to the human sister's college graduation and that they were VERY thankful that she had her degree! (bachelors in business)

We know the peeps had steaks and fish and lots of good things, cuz we could smell it on their breaths when they got home.  Pffft!   We are not gonna let this slide!  The Mommy better give us something yummy to eat tomorrow or else.....    MOL!

Hi furriend, Princeton here.  It's Thursday and you know what that means, time to tell what we're thankful for this week.

Obviously I'm thankful for this perch on my catio.  What a purrfect place for snoozing.  Notice that I'm turned to the wall so that the sun wasn't in my eyes.  I was also on the highest perch.  Purrfectly befitting my place in the household. (well, on the catio anyway)

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here on your Thursday, which should in fact be thankful.  Princeton is laughing so hard, he sounds like a braying jackass, Precious laughed til she ran to the litter box, me on the other paw, I'm just too nice for that (even tho my laserz are set to stun).

Here's the deal:  Mommy has been feeling poorly, so she went to the human vet today and got a big ole shot on the rear end!  MOL! MOL!  (straightens face quickly)  (Nothing to worry about though, just allergies and asthma.)  But we feel short-changed, as they took her temperature in her ear.  Not fair!   Oh well, we're thankful she's feeling better this evening.

I'm thankful that the Mommy and Daddy provide me with comfy furniture to gnaw relax on.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  We are so thankful this Thursday for our furriends, MAXWELL, ALLIE, AND FARADAY over at A Tonk's Tail.  We won their Dog Swag giveaway. They even sent us some Greenies and some premium nip.  YUMMY!

 Chi-Chi is so excited, she refused to be photographed.  I, on the other paw, didn't have any problems with the pawparazzi.   (or opening the Greenies...)

Even the box was a hit.  MOL!  I can't believe Mommy shared this pic.  How embarassing!   We want to thank MAXWELL, ALLIE, FARADAY, AND THEIR MOM, for the great swag.   (Mom will dole out that great nip sparingly.)

Hi furriends, Princeton here on your Thankful Thursday.  I've got lots to be thankful for this week.

1. Mommy quit hijacking the blog.
2. We didn't get blown away by storms.
3. I'm able to manipulate all the cabinets and drawers open in the house.

I just love to get into the Mommy's makeup/hair supplies drawer.  Did you kittehz know that hairbrushes can be great fun to chew on and bunny kick?  The big plus is they smell like your human's hair!  I'll try to remind the feeble-minded quick-witted Mommy to post a pic of yours truly taking down a hairbrush.  MOL!

Well, gotta run, I've got to finish ransacking looking through this drawer before I scamper off to tear up play with something else.  (Mommy!  Why so many cross-outs?!?)

Thankful Thursday - Home (part 3)

Family Room

Prancer Pie's private den.  Yes, it's purple.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie back in charge.  (and it's about time!)   Let me answer some questions.

1. No, we don't have the run of the whole house.  Just our section and our catio.  That is why Mommy insisted to Daddy that we have one built. (If you ever consider a catio, hire a local laborer, it is so much cheaper than ordering a pre-built!)
2. The weenie dogs are ok.  They are across the hall from us and we are used to their sounds.  Mommy has always had their smells on her, anyway.  Traitor.
3. What Mommy means by double toilets is actually two private toilet rooms per bathroom.  Around these parts we call them "potty rooms."  

There were many things that had to be considered for this venture.  How to heat/cool such a large space.  We have three heat/cool units.  We have two hot water tanks, too.  Just like the two refrigerators, we have a double oven and our range has 5 burners on it, too.  The Nana  had a walk-in tub installed for herself.  They bought the display out of a local showroom and got a great deal on the tub!  (Mommy will get a pics)

The thing that really excited all the humans was the fact that they will eventually save money on this venture.  We don't have 3 families paying for basic rates for utilities and such.  We have one bill (albeit a tad larger)  and split it 3 ways.  Hooray for saving money to buy more Fancy Feast!

When Mommy and Daddy first started out on their adventure, Mommy tried "Googling"  multigenerational homes.  Not a lot out there.  Just the other day she Googled it and there is so much more!   Lots of people used to live this way and we are thankful the peeps thought it was a good idea, especially if it gets us more toys and foodables.

Whew!  All this typing has made me tired and I haven't even made my rounds today.  MOL!

Seeing Red On Thankful Thursday

Hi furriends!  Mommy here hijacking the blog today.  I'm very thankful this Thursday for this little plant.  It's red clover.

Our daughter took this pic and called it Home Sweet 'Homa.

It lines both sides of the road where we live.  It looks like this for miles.   Simply beautiful.  (Ironically, the name of our road is Green Top.)

Prancer Pie thinks it smells nice.

He thinks it might taste nice, too.  Too bad I ruined his fun and didn't let him eat it.

Hi furriends, Princess here on your Thankful Thursday.  As you can see, I've got a rough life here in the heated cat cup that's by the fireplace.  Hee-hee.

We're thankful this Thursday for some sunny weather and warming temps.  We hope all our furriends getting all that white stuff, are safe and warm.

Our Mommy got a message from GRACIE'S Mommy and she said they had 10 1/2 inches!  Thank cod that's not here.  We Okies can barely deal with 2!  Purrs fur an early spring thaw for them.

Thankful Thursday

Hi furriends!  We got a big surprise on Wednesday morning.  Seems that sorry excuse for a weatherman Mother Nature played a trick on us.  It was rain, snow, rain, freezing rain, snow, more rain....you get the idea.  We are extremely thankful this Thursday for this:

Our Fireplace.

We love it and our sofa is about 3 feet from it.  So, this Thursday will find us with more rain, snow, ice, etc. and you will find us snoozing the day away.

We are very thankful for full bellahs, warm beddies and extra Mommy luffins. (she's stayin near the fireplace, too!)

We hope all our furriends have a warm and dry Thankful Thursday.  Purrs, y'all.

Hi furriends, HRH Princess here on your Thankful Thursday.  What am I thankful for?  A nice warm kitteh bed cause the weather man says we're in for more rain.  Mommy says maybe next time she'll be more specific when she purrays for rain.  (not all at once!)

Hi furriends, Princeton here.  It's true, I'm slowly emerging from UTB.  I practiced a little decoupage one night, got scritches from Mommy at 3 in the a.m., and terrorized Precious just a little.  Little by little, I'm settling in too and Mommy is very thankful.
