Princeton licks his claws. |
Sniff, sniff, are they ok? |
I'm just ruined I tell you! |
Hi furriends, Princeton here. I am RUINED, I tell you, just RUINED! Remember earlier this week when Precious ratted me out by leavin my claw sheath in her head? Then, a few days later she left one in her side, further sealing my fate? Well, the Mommy and Daddy CLIPPED MY CLAWS. Oh, the indignity of it all. As you can see in these
I hope everybody has an easy Sunday. I'll be UTB growing my daggers back. Purrs, ya'll.
NOTE FROM THE MOMMY: Princeton was not hurt in the least. It took all of two minutes for all the front ones. He was one unhappy boy after he figured it out! I'm posting this early. The spouse and I are off to see Cirque du Soleil - Dralion. We've already enjoyed one of their shows before (La Nouba) and are very excited for the evening out, amidst all the packing and sorrows of Friday. Happy early Sunday, friends!
Princeton I have to be contained to get my talons tipped off. I do not go down without a fight. Meow!
ReplyDeleteDude, we've heard they grow faster if you bear down and PUSH!!
ReplyDeleteOr was that for something else...???
It really is okay Princeton, they will be back before ya know it! Tell Mom and Dad we said have fun at the show!
ReplyDeleteAw, Princeton.
ReplyDeleteThe up side is they will grow back, right?
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
We hate having our nails clipped too!! But they will grow back, Princeton.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a bummer. I hate it when they trim my toes!
ReplyDeleteOh Princeton, this is a horror
ReplyDeleteCotton
Don't worry, Princeton - they grow back meaner and sharper than ever!
ReplyDeleteSorry about that, Princeton, we don't like getting our nails trimmed either.
ReplyDeleteOur Mom wants to see that show too - we all hope you enjoy your night out.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Poor Princeton - should I come and rescue you pal? Are you being mistreated by having a manicure? For what it is worth, I don't like having my nails done.
ReplyDeleteThey do grow back, someday.
ReplyDeleteHave fun. I'll be here putting claw extensions on Princeton. MOL.
ReplyDeleteOh, MomCat, I just read your blog from yesterday. Many purrs and purrayers for all those hurting people in CT, but also for you and for other survivors who must relive their own traumas when these terrible things happen XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteAlso--Yo, Princeton, you'll live, Man. When that horrible tutoring outrage was perpetrated on me last August, I came to to find my daggers blunted also (great phrase by the way!). Guess what? (shhhhh) They grow back pretty fast. And hey, keep your claws outta your sisfurs, Buddy.
Princeton, this is not on. But Spitty is right - they grow back fast. Just be careful not to leave them hanging around as evidence.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you left your mark Princeton before the snippy snipping started.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hope the Humams enjoy the show :)Having ya nails clipped..BOL, did you get dem painted too??? xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Sorry Princeton, but they'll grow back in no time at all.
ReplyDeleteGlad your peeps are off for a treat and hope they enjoy it!
Maggie
Just scratch a bunch of stuff up and the will grow back even faster!
ReplyDeletePrinceton...Oh boy do I feel your pain. The worse thing about the mani-pedi is being held like a baby by Dad while Mom attacks my daggers.
ReplyDeletehugs and we hope your peeps had a fun outing.
Hugs madi your BFFF
Manicures are detested in this house too. Hope you had wonderful time at the show. I saw your post regarding Friday's tragedy and I'm so sorry for what you went through. Lucy and I send you (and the gang) hugs. I am also struggling with what happened. It helps to see everyone's kitties and they're all up to.
ReplyDeleteI feel for you Princeton. I had never had my claws clipped because I keep them shortish but very sharp when I am outdoors. When I went to the vet a while back he made me go to sleep to take a bad tooth out. I woke up and went home again, then disaster! I tried to sharpen my claws on the carpet and they just slid over the top. My lovely sharp claws had gone. They are growing back nicely now though. Mum asked the vet why they had done it when she went the next time and they told her it was because I drew blood.
ReplyDeleteFlynn
Glogirly give me a mani-pedi about once a month. Although I don't enjoy it, I try to be civilized about it.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Waffles Too...the beast doesn't understand the concept yet.
; ) Katie
Hang in there dude, it is just a matter of time and they will grow back and then.....
ReplyDeleteAllie: oh I feel your pain. I had a MAJOR mani/pedi this morning! *sighhhhhh*
ReplyDeleteaiiieeee!!! Princeton!!! I TOTALLY feel your pain!!! I was attacked on Sunday by Dad, he grabed me by my scruff, and then Mom whacked my gorgeous long and very sharp claws!! I went straight UTB and every time Dad comes within, oh about...hmmm...actually EVERY time I hear him anywhere in this house I go UTB! Only coming out for food, potty box and Mom's singing and playing...hope the move goes well. Still don't know if you are moving a long way or not??? It will be ok, trust me, Savannah
