|Prancer Pie's private den. Yes, it's purple.|
- No, we don't have the run of the whole house. Just our section and our catio. That is why Mommy insisted to Daddy that we have one built. (If you ever consider a catio, hire a local laborer, it is so much cheaper than ordering a pre-built!)
- The weenie dogs are ok. They are across the hall from us and we are used to their sounds. Mommy has always had their smells on her, anyway. Traitor.
- What Mommy means by double toilets is actually two private toilet rooms per bathroom. Around these parts we call them "potty rooms."
The thing that really excited all the humans was the fact that they will eventually save money on this venture. We don't have 3 families paying for basic rates for utilities and such. We have one bill (albeit a tad larger) and split it 3 ways. Hooray for saving money to buy more Fancy Feast!
When Mommy and Daddy first started out on their adventure, Mommy tried "Googling" multigenerational homes. Not a lot out there. Just the other day she Googled it and there is so much more! Lots of people used to live this way and we are thankful the peeps thought it was a good idea, especially if it gets us more toys and foodables.
Whew! All this typing has made me tired and I haven't even made my rounds today. MOL!
I'm gonna catch forty winks. Happy Thursday and purrs, y'all.
|Note the paw sticking out from between the legs. SQUEEEEEEEE!|
This is really interesting - a multi-human household with sufficient litter boxes and space for everyone to get along and not fight. Paws are crossed it goes well!ReplyDelete
And we hope there's enough space for you guys - afterall you sometime sneed a bit of peace and quiet :)
It looks wonderful!
Hey Prancer, your private den is fantastic. You could have some great pawties there.ReplyDelete
We like the saving money for more Fancy Feast part.

It's nice to have a huge space to walk, play, snooze, etc. you have a really nice house, prancer pie.ReplyDelete
It sounds like the humans organized this endeavor really well!ReplyDelete
What an interesting concept. Mommy isn't so sure about wanting so many humans in one house. MOL!ReplyDelete
Prancer Pie...how does your mommy keep you kitties in one section without sneakouts and crying and gnashing of fangs? Is it a room? Two? Do the woofies have the run of the house? Do you guys host visits from the family members? Rather like a Salon in the French aristocracy days?ReplyDelete
Bonjour dear friend, I love your private den, it's charming!ReplyDelete
Luna - We love Luna
Prancer your Peeps are very well organized and creative to have figure out what they needed and how to get it to work!!ReplyDelete

Great home, I cannot believe that you have your very own den! Think we need to schedule a party there.ReplyDelete
Looks very, very nice...and plenty of comfy to go around.ReplyDelete
The human here: I'd love that kind of set up, but I think with a little mini-kitchen in my own suite too. I haven't any siblings, it's just my aging parents, and I'm conscious of the fact that I'll be alone if they pass on before me. A household of a few people, not even family, who get along, who are financially independent and reliable, who can share common areas but have their own space, would be wonderful in retirement.ReplyDelete
Wait...That's a seniors' residence. LOL.
That family room is beautiful - looks so inviting. Years before we were here, our Mom's Mom lived with the family. They had a very simplistic version of what you have here. It was a great way for Grandma to get the care she needed and Mom to have her family time too. More families should consider this as an option. It's all about family.ReplyDelete
