This is my submission for Sunday Selfies.

I like to call it my "Sweet Sheets Sunday Selfie.".

I was helping Mom put fresh sheets on the bed.

(Yes, we know they're wrinkled - we kits have to lay on them while they cool!)

Monday's Study In Herpetology

PRECIOUS

Is this the face of a killer?

The day started innocently enough with us kits lounging on the catio by 7 a.m (CST).

By 7:48 Preslee abandoned the catio with such a clatter that the Daddy arose from

the bed to see what was the matter. (heh-heh)

The rest of us kits, (Precious, Princeton, & Prudie) had cornered something small and

were converging upon it.
Daddy yelled to Mommy (who was still abed...) to get his glasses.
When the Daddy could see what was causing the commotion - he yelled for the something sharp.
Kittehz, it was a snake - and Precious was trying to take him down!
This can not be allowed as we have several poisonous snakes here in SE Oklahoma.
He struck at Precious and Mommy made terrible Mommy sounds.
So Daddy shooed us indoors (Precious was reluctant to let her quarry go...)
then he killed it with a shovel!

No photos were obtained as the Mommy was dancing from one foot to another.

We didn't even get to sniff it.

Oh well, at least it makes good blog fodder.

my long white whiskers and eyebrows.

I was also feeling very bright-eyed and bushy-tailed that day.  Hee-Hee!

Sunday Selfie - Precious

Hi furriends!  We are running late, but here is our submission for Sunday Selfies.

I am showing off my newly healed nose.

I exchanged whappy paws with Prudie last week and had a bloody nose.

Mommy was very upset, so we won't be doing that again.

My nose is in the pink again and so is Mommy's StepDaddy.

He's home from rehab.  There is still a lot of work to be done and nurses and therapists

running through our house all day (Pfffffttt!) but we are so happy to have him home.

Hi furriends!

This is NOT the selfie I had prepared for this Sunday, but Mommy snapped

me snacking out of the back of the kibble feader and thought it was funny.

You kittehz know that food is always better this way!

Thank efurrybody for the purrs, wags, and good thoughts while the Mom has been

sitting at the hospital with her Stepdaddy.  He is in rehab and doing better.

Hi furriends!

This is Mommy's choice for my Sunday Selfie.

It's the blissful look I have when she scratches my hiney.  

Defnitely not my choice of photos, but I decided to indulge her this week.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and thoughts for the Mom's Stepdad.

He got moved to rehabilitation a couple of days ago and despite a bout of pneumonia,

he is doing well.
