PRECIOUS

Is this the face of a killer?

The day started innocently enough with us kits lounging on the catio by 7 a.m (CST).

By 7:48 Preslee abandoned the catio with such a clatter that the Daddy arose from

the bed to see what was the matter. (heh-heh)

The rest of us kits, (Precious, Princeton, & Prudie) had cornered something small and

were converging upon it.
Daddy yelled to Mommy (who was still abed...) to get his glasses.
When the Daddy could see what was causing the commotion - he yelled for the something sharp.
Kittehz, it was a snake - and Precious was trying to take him down!
This can not be allowed as we have several poisonous snakes here in SE Oklahoma.
He struck at Precious and Mommy made terrible Mommy sounds.
So Daddy shooed us indoors (Precious was reluctant to let her quarry go...)
then he killed it with a shovel!

No photos were obtained as the Mommy was dancing from one foot to another.

We didn't even get to sniff it.

Oh well, at least it makes good blog fodder.

Monday Guest Post

TITUS

 Hi ya kittehz!  Bet you're surprised to see a woofie on our blog today.

Well he's our human sister's woofie.  His name is Titus.

He's guest posting today.

Hiya kittehz!  My name is Titus, but my Mommy calls me her little Ti-Ti.

Don't worry bout me being mean and all because I love kittehz.

Matter of fact, I love efurrybody.

I'm a very lucky pup and I know it.  

My Mommy loves me to the moon and back.

Even my Grandmom, who is typing this for me, is crazy bout me.

She's my Gam-Gam and I'm her crazy boy.

She brings me loads of toys and healthy treats when she visits even though she's a self proclaimed crazy cat lady.

(Like I said I'm a lucky boy.)

The reason I'm posting here today is because I heard you bloggers have some kind of amazing powers.

My Gam-Gam says it's called POTP and it's powerful stuff.

Well kittehz I kinda could use some of it.

I got sick 5 days ago.

Fast forward three vet visits, two blood tests, 5 different medications, and I'm still a sick boy.

My poor Mommy is a crying mess.

This is us below:

The vet says I've got a bacterial infection, but I just can't whip it.

My Mommy is hand feeding me every 4 hours and giving me fluids, while trying to work her job.

The Gam Gam has been helping out by running to the vet.

More test results will be back in today.

If you kittehz (and woofies) could just send me some of that POTP,

we would appreciate it.

Wagons Ho! Memorial Day 2015

Happy Memorial Day, kittehz!

We wanted to show you some of what went on in our town this weekend.

(besides the flooding!)

This wagon parade came through town.

It was lots of fun for the peeps to see the wagons, horse, and mules.

It was over all too soon and the rains came back with a vengeance.

We are safe, but the flooding in our county (Leflore)  is terrible.

We are still taking time to remember and think of all those who served our country.

We're Back & Prancer Pie Update

From the Mommy:  Our internet service was out all of Sunday due to inclement weather.   The daughter posted on the CWB page for me.

Now for the update.  Prancer Pie might be a tad better.  Keeping everything crossed here today.  He has been moving around more and actually sniffed some cat food. (yes, that's an improvement)
Will be talking with Vet today to make sure he is getting what he needs.

We are hanging in there.  Thank you so very much for those purrs.

Very Illuminating Monday

Hi furriends, Princeton here.  I got an awardie from Ana over at GARDEN COTTAGE CATS, you should definitely go visit them. Their bloggie is pawsome!  It's just so pretty wif flowers, moosik, and of course, kittehz!

Well, let's get to it.   I am to tell one Illuminating fact about myself.  MY BEST FURRIEND IS A WOOFIE AND SHE LIVES WIF US AS OUR SISFUR.  My sisfur's name is Chi-Chi, and she is a rescue just like the rest of us.  Chi, is a chihuahua.  I outgrew her quickly, but she is large in spirit.  Even though I am much larger than her now, she still plays Thundering Herd of Elephants wif me. We rassle til Mom yells at us and we like to eat each other's foods. (til Mom yells at us again)  We snuggle when it is chilly and we like to play by biting each other's bums. (more illumination) MOL!
Mommy says this works out so well cuz Chi thinks she is a kitteh.

We is supposed to pass this, but it seems we are always behind the times and everybody we know has it.  So, if you don't have it, please, please, pick it up and let us know.  Happy Monday to all those mancats out there and purrs, ya'll.

ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY!!!!!

Prancer Pie - Mommy's little man.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  Today is our ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY.  We can't believe it.  So much has happened around the CB since we started blogging.  Our Mommy was a CB stalker or lurker, before we started blogging.  (For 2 whole years!)

Mommy is gonna donate to our local shelter in honor of our blogaversary.  It is a small shelter that could really use it.

Now, on to sum fun facts:

We have 371 published posts. (whew!)
Mommy has blogged everyday.
Our first comment was from THE CAT STREET BOYZ.
SWEET PRALINE'S passing was our inspiration to blog.

 We hopes all our furriends had a wonderful Christmas. The pawrents and the sisbean are gonna be around the house today. So lots of luf and snuggles and leftover ham is on the agenda fur us.
