BRADFORD PEAR TREE

Today is a time for sadness and remembering at our house.
One of our outside doggies, RailRoad, went across his Rainbow Bridge Monday morning.
He passed at home cradled in the Dad's arms.
He was our sweet, but obstinate doxie.
Our rescue from the railroad tracks. (hence his name)
He had a broken hip and Mommy called him to our car and the rest was history.
He was lucky that the hip healed without surgery, but his luck was short-lived.
Shortly thereafter he was diagnosed with epilepsy.  He took two pills twice a day for nearly 10 years.
Mommy always made sure she spent time with the outside doggies every day
and that they always had an air-conditioned and heated room with a doggy door.
Yes, RailRoad had a pampered life.

When we think of RailRoad, we will always remember his zest for life, hatred of cattle,  his passion for squeaky toys, and the love of a good meal.
We think the quote that best describes him is "live every day like someone left the gate open".

Takin Over Tuxie Tuesday

Pffffft!  I'm takin over this Tuxie Tuesday.  This is a blog-jacking!   I'm gonna give this blog some class and some sass!

 How do ya'll like my booty shot?   Mommy was givin me scritches and I gave her the bum!  I think this blog should have more booty shots?  What do you furriends think?

Tuxie Tuesday

Hi ya'll!  Precious here on your Tuxie Tuesday.  Guess what?  We officially have the "hots"  here in Oklahoma.  It was 91 degrees fahrenheit today.

 The storms, rains, and cool temps are over.  The next 7 days (according to the weather guesser)  are hot and dry.  I've taken to spending these hot afternoons inside on the cat tree.  A girl has got to stay cool!

2nd Blogaversary Tuesday

Precious-Prancer Pie-Princeton

Hi furriends!  It's our 2nd Blogaversary!  Our very first post was June 4, 2011.   But, our Mommy was a lurker for many years before that.  It was only when SWEET PRALINE, Truffle and Brulee's sisfur that came before them, went to the Bridge, that Mommy was spurred into action.
Here's the wrap-up of the last year:

1. Princess went to the bridge unexpectedly.  
2. We did the Big Move from our old home to multigenerational living.
3. Surprise announcement that we live with a chihuahua.
4. Storms.  Oh boy, have we had them.

We've posted 740 times since we started two years ago.  We've never missed a day.  So, in honor of this momentous  occasion, we are gonna make a donation to our local Pound Puppies (and kittehz).  Pound Puppies pulls furbabies from death row and helps them get adopted.  We LOVE and support them!

Now, let the house-trashin begin!  Niptinis and ham fur efurrybody!  Happy Tuesday and purrs, y'all!

Sweet Little Tootsie Tuesday

Prancer Pie's sweet little tootsie.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  Happy Tuesday!  Mommy has tried for the longest time to get a pic of my sweet rabbit feet.  She finally got one with the toes ever-so-slightly curled for your viewing pleasure.  

We are in the process of moving, so if we don't visit or post, it just means we are super busy and/or the internet is not hooked up.

Happy 'Tocksie Tuesday

Hi furriends, Precious here.  Mom snapped this pic from around the back of her chair.  I was peepin in on the window perch.   I made her put up the modesty heart. Really, Mommy!

We has the most exciting news, a package came today!  Pics will follow later this week.  It may or may not have been from KATIE AND GLOGIRLY.  Mommy will open it tomorrow. I'm very excited!  (I may open it all by myself later tonight, when efurrybody's in bed! MOL!)

Mommy has mentioned in our bloggie that we will be moving, (don't worry, local move) but that's not fur another 5 or 6 months.  (Ours catio has to be completely finished to my satisfaction first!) So we is saving boxes.  Mommy finally got a good one.  So like a good kitteh, I left a pee-mail about my satisfaction of said box and Mommy threw it out! Nows I has to start all over!

Well, I gotta go check out that package.  Efurrybody have a happy Tocksie Tuesday and remember:  TOCKSIES RULE!

International Box Day

Hi furriends, Precious here on your INTERNATIONAL BOX DAY.  This is our second one and we can't believe it!  Unfortunately the Mommy got the "coughing crud" and didn't get new pics.  (there will be demerits fur that)  

Funny story:  I used to have a box that a frozen turkey (yes, it was yummy) was delivered in.  On the side of the box was printed "YOUNG TURKEY" .  The Mommy and Daddy had so much fun laffin and jokin bout me and my "young turkey" box, that I peed in it!  End of box and end of story.

HaHaMeow!  I love a good story wif a happy ending and I love Tuxie Tuesdays.  Gotta go, I'm terrorizing the wooden blinds and Princeton simultaneously.  Happy Tuesday ya'll and remember:  TUXIES RULE!!!!

Tuxie Tuesday

Hi ya'll, Precious here again, dictating my post from the cat tree.  Once again I get the middle cup.  Girls rule, boys, drool.  HaHaMeow!

This last week has been a busy one, but, the 'rents did not have to show the house this weekend! Woo-hoo!   No UTB fur us!  So, to be fair, I've done my share of rippin and tearin through the house.   Let me tell you kittehz, one morning the Mommy got out of bed (finally) and drug herself down the hall to see the living room.  IT WAS EPIC!  Mommy was out of sorts all day and  I took that as a compliment. HaHaMeow!

In udder noos, we has the hots.  Already.  It's dry too.  The Mommy and Daddy are very worried this year, as last year was the worst on record and it didn't start this early.  Wif the AC runnin full blast, we kittehz haf gone into hibernation mode.  We'll re-emerge when the 'rents come to their senses and turn the fireplace back on! (bout November)

I'm baaaack!  Hi ya'll and welcome to another Tuxie Tuesday wif me, Precious.  Well, there was not much nappin that went on Monday and I'm giving the Mom demerits.  We spent most of Monday morning UTB too.  We had to have some pretty serious lawn work done.  Lots of noise.  I think some of us may even have shell shock.

We have had some questions that we want to answer.  Yes, we are selling our house and the humans are in the process of building us a new place to demolish. MOL!  We are re-locating locally.  No change in the bloggie. ( Please ignore the Mommy as she whines about all the work involved.)

On yesterday's pic everybody was wonderin what the little rugrat, Princeton was layin on.  The same thing he is on today.  The last pic, where he got removed to!  Ha-ha!

Lots of purrs and purrayers goin out to Parker Pie and family.  They could use extra love right now. Go by and visit them HERE.

Not Tuxie Tuesday

Do I really look like I could do sumthing like that?

Hello loyal subjects, HRH Princess posting today.  Kittehz, I guess sumtimes you just can't run from your past.  You can take the kitteh outta HE--, but you can't take the HE-- outta the kitteh.  It's no secret I'm a *mature* kitteh (NO. You may not ask how old.)  But, I've raised sum cane in my heyday. Yes, I've done  things I'm not proud of.   For a number of years, I regularly tormented The One Who Came Before.  But, all that changed.  I grew, mentally as well as physically.  My place in this house is well established. But early Monday morning, well, I relapsed.  Mine Mommy had to be up at 4 a.m. fur the Nana's operation.  Well, at 3:45 a.m. (a full 15 minutes early) Mommy was hauled from her restful slumber, by me sittin on her chest whappin her across the face!  No, this was not paw tappin, this was full fledged whappin. I don't know what came ofur me, kittehz.   Oh well, what's done is done. No use cryin ofur spilt milk. That sounds yummy, I think I'll haf sum.  See? I feel better bout it already!  Happy Tuesday from the Tortie Princess and purrs, ya'll.
