National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day


PRESLEE & PRUDIE (AUGUST 2014)
Today is National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day.  We weren't at a shelter, but we were for adoption at our veterinary clinic.  Actually, just Preslee was up for adoption.
I was scheduled to be euthanized.
Until my Mommy ran in the procedure room and yelled "STOP".

She left with both of us and has never looked back.
Sure, she has said she must have been out of her mind a time or twelve since then.
We kittehz know that she doesn't mean it, though.

Please don't be afraid to adopt shelter pets.
We make excellent furbabies.
Just ask our Mom.

    Prudie, I don't think we knew that, Your Mommy is a HERO. And yes, shelter adoption is very important. All kitties deserve a home and love.
    Even your big arsed older brother. Does he know what you say about him ?

    I had chills when I read this, to think of how close you came to almost not being here, and how your incredible Mama took you both home. Your Mama is an Angel. I am not a Shelter Cat either but I was adopted....I lived with a foster through a rescue group..........the message is all the same, adopt! Love Cody
