Surprise on Sunday

Hi furriends, the mailman finally came through for us.  We got our very own package from KING P! (click on his name to visit)  Precious seems to prefer the very handsome Lewis as her favorite.

 We also got two of these rainbow colored pinwheels.  They look pretty sturdy, too.  That's a plus!

As for the patriotic packing tape toy, we love it too, however the suggestion that it might be fun attached to a girlcat's tail, was totally unnecessary!  Pffffft!

What a goldmine of fun, kittehz.  Mommy loves the calendar and is so glad to receive it, too.  She can't imagine not seeing a member of PUNAPIPPURI'S family every day!

Rump-Thumping Thursday

Hi furriends, Princeton here.  Sandy Claws came to our house and we got those catnip straws (they are pawsome!) and treats.  The weather was nice too, so we had extra catio time (all day!).  It was a most successful day.  This pic is me right before Sandy Claws visited our house.  I was being a very good boy.  Daddy was giving my rump a right good scratching and thumping. Heh-heh.

Happy Thursday to all my furriends.  Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are getting to rest up with your humans today.  Purrs, ya'll.

 Well, the holly-daze are here and the peeps are already indulging.  This weekend they had the remnants of red velvet cake.  Kittehz, that cake had cream cheese icing!   It was so nommy. Mommy put the plate down and let me lick where the icing was. (she's a pretty good egg)

Sometimes that icing can kinda get stuck in the roof of your mouth, though.  Ack!

All in all, our holly-daze are off to a good start and I hope yours are, too.

Hi furriends, Precious here.  Mommy has just been laffin and laffin at this pic.  She says it reminds her of the old Folgers Coffee jingle: "the best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup."  She sings it now with "tuxie in your cup".    HahaMeow!  Wouldn't that be hilarious?  I think they probably need a little "tuxie" in their cups. (if you know what I mean)

What is it about humans and their dirty hot water that smells funny coffee?  I think the day starts best with a little Fancy Feast and maybe a little dry kibble.  Maybe it would help sharpen the Mommy's mind a little if she would start her morning with salmon and shrimp feast, instead.  MOL!  Just a thought, kittehz.

Hi furriends, Princeton here.  Mommy has just been itching to show ya'll her pic of our frost this week.  We had freezing fog and it left frost crystals lyin about.  The above pic was one of our nandina bushes.  It was truly lovely on everything, even spider webs!

We've had a busy week and it's been dreadfully cold for us Okies, but now we're getting above freezing and the big thaw has begun.  The catio door is open again!  (I was gettting a slight case of "cabin fever" according to the Mommy and things were starting to get tense.)

Thankful Thursday

Hi furriends and Happy Thursday!  We may not make many visits til tomorrow.  The peeps abandoned us all day and half the night!  They said they were going to the human sister's college graduation and that they were VERY thankful that she had her degree! (bachelors in business)

We know the peeps had steaks and fish and lots of good things, cuz we could smell it on their breaths when they got home.  Pffft!   We are not gonna let this slide!  The Mommy better give us something yummy to eat tomorrow or else.....    MOL!

Hi furriends, we still haven't lost power!  We thought you might enjoy some of our ice/snow pics.  We know this isn't a lot for many of you, but it is for us Okies.  The grand total was 5 inches.  1 inch of ice and 4 inches of snow.

The Mommy got tired of all our whining and meowing at the catio door and finally unlocked it, even though it was a brisk 25 degrees F.  She thought we would just dart out and back in again.  WE showed her!    We walked and rolled in the snow had that blown under the catio roof.  We stalked birdies that had ventured out for foods (even though they were on the other side of the catio wire).  Then we had a big meal and went to sleep.

This was our first snow experience and we loved it!  We hope the Mommy lets us out again tomorrow.  Until then, we are sated and sound asleep.

Hi furriends, Princeton here.  Well, we've still got our power, (11:55pm CST) but our innernets service is a little touch and go.  We are about halfway through our storm, so we're not out of the woods yet.  The Mommy won't even venture out to get pics.

Thursday's Public Service Announcement

Hi furriends, let's get right to it.  We've got a lot of ground to cover.

 We got an award!  Thank you so much to the THE CAT ON MY HEAD kittehz!  We are supposed to tell 7 things about ourselves.  So, here we go:

1. Precious is wearing 2 scratches on her nose right now from scrapping with Princeton.
2. Princeton has jumped into the shower with the Mommy the last two nights.
3. Prancer Pie has recently taken up bunny-kickin and nibblin on the Mommy. Heh-heh.
4. Some kitteh left a "prezzie" for Mommy in one of the ham-micks last week.  We're not telling who it was.
5. Precious favorite snoozing spot lately has been in Dad's closet, on the suitcase.
6. Princeton tried to get behind the flat screen tv last week.  If Mommy hadn't caught him, the tv would have been knocked to the floor.
7. Prancer Pie is a faucet drinker and not a very neat one, either.  He walks away with water dribbling down  his chin and chest fur!

 If we don't post on our bloggie or on Facebook, don't panic.  We are under an Ice Storm Warning starting Thursday and ending Friday.  We will very likely lose our power and don't know when we'll get it back.  (don't worry, we have plenty of cat food and litter!)
