Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here with Princeton today on your Mancat Monday.  You can see it is very mancatly to help out with the laundry.  In this case, it paid off big.  We got HAM!  All in all, it was a very successful weekend.  We hope all our furriends have a great Monday.  Purrs, y'all.

Hi furriends and happy Caturday!  It's me again, Princeton.  We all know that Caturday means cleaning (and sleeping in!) and laundry.  I see it as my purrsonal goal in life to always be most helpful with the towel folding.  So helpful in fact that Mommy often hides feels guilty and does the towel folding behind closed doors.  Bless her.   Efurrybody have a great Caturday.  Purrs, y'all!

Hi furriends, I've barely time to visit on this Monday.  Mommy has the wand fishie out and I'm giving it a working over.  It deserves lots of bunny kicks and my toofies will get a good flossing with the string.  (the string will wear out before the toy!)   Then there will be treats and a nap.  Whew, us mancats have lots to do today.

Princeton is waiting anxiously for his turn, but I'm taking my time.  MOL!  Happy Mancat Monday.  Purrs, ya'll.

Cat-door Caturday

 Some kitteh was very, very smart and learned to use the door before any other kitteh.  Can you guess who that wild child smart kitteh was?

Mommy just can't believe I took to using the door so quickly.  I'm a smart boy and Mommy said so.  She was very proud of me and said so, too.  To repay her for the kind words, I tore up a brand new hand towel.

Good News On Friday

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  My blood test results came in and they were not quite purrfect, but they were better than this time last year.  Just that dastardly thyroid giving me trouble.  The V-E-T has adjusted my medicine and he says he is very happy about my numbers.

We thought everybody could use that little piece of good news.  It certainly made my Mommy's day.  Happy Friday and purrs, y'all.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  Mommy wanted to share one of the last pics she had in her camera.  It was the last one she took of Princess before she left for the Bridge.  She's really glad she found it.

I like to spend some time in the tippy-top of the cat tree.  But something has woke me from my slumber.  I hatefully glare take a gander at what woke me.

Dear cod, it's Princeton.  As you can see, he's teleported in his cube, to my side of the room.  The little rugrat must be looking for some trouble.  Well, he's found it.  I'll just scare him away with my scorpion pose.  Whaddya think?

It must have worked.  He ran off like the sissy he is.  HaHaMeow!  "Princeton drools and TUXIES RULE!!!"  Purrs, y'all.

Pee Ess - our heads our bowed in honor of ERIC, (we asked for purrs yesterday for him) a great ginger mancat whom we all loved dearly.   Godspeed, sweet boy.
We also were shocked to learn of SAUCE leaving for the Bridge.  We love to visit him and his family.  RIP, handsome Sauce.

UPDATE:  Prancer Pie did good at the vet!  The kind Dr. dreaded V-E-T said he is in good condition and heart, lungs, teeth, and everything else looked good.  We did blood tests for his thyroid checkup and should have the results of those tomorrow.  Thanks so much for those purrs for my beloved mancat. (and me!)

Hi furriends!  It's me, Princeton on your Senile Saturday.  Well, we've had a big week here at Prancer Pie.  It's been a full week since Princess left for the Bridge, we got the catio finished and we were interviewed by JAN'S FUNNY FARM  for MOUSEBREATH magazine.

Whew, what a week.  Cod luf the Mommy, her first thought after Princess left was about the interview, she's counted down the minutes all week, then Friday morning, when she was supposed to do the badge and link it, she forgot, and then the innernets was bein tempermental when she finally remembered.

 She blames it on the allergy meds, but the truth is, she might have furgotten anyways.  She's had two pills tonight, so she's apt to say or post anything.  (this is her disclaimer)

Thank you for all the great comments on the interview and watch out, cause Mommy is visiting while being tanked up on her meds while she rests.  We hope efurrybody has a great weekend.

Friday's Grand Finale

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  Well, it's done!  The catio is finished and has been christened. 

These are the wall shelves that are carpeted for us to lounge on and MY favorite table.  Mommy brought it from the old house.

I was the bravest kitteh and the first to enjoy the catio.  Then, Mommy had to finally drag me into the house after dark.  MOL!

This is one of our access windows with a carpeted ramp to help us get up and down from the window.

This is the open wall that looks out.  Our new home had this natural little nook in the back, so the peeps just enclosed it on one side and roofed it for us to enjoy.  It really is a little piece of heaven.  All three of us and Chi Chi have already used it.

Our window pet door should be here next week.  Then we'll be fully operational.  For now, we're at Mommy's mercy.

Thank Baste!  The catio finally got started today!  Well, furriends here's the shakedown:  15 x 8 feet,  brick wall on 3 sides,  the framing is being built, the wire will cover that and there will be a door with THREE latches and a LOCK.  There will be a roof over the top for those hot, sunny, Oklahoma days and the two windows will have pet doors in them for access to the house.  (Mommy doesn't want Princeton hemming any kitteh up with no way out.) Unfortunately, Mommy is installing a little camera so she can keep an eye on the wild child  with her laptop.  The catio will be off-limits during nighttime hours.

Good weather and cod-willing we will be trying this bad boy on fur size by late this weekend.  (She also commissioned a climbing wall  for said wild child.)    We know the view isn't much now, but eventually spring will come and we can plant grass and trees.

Whew, now for a subject we don't like to talk about:  Prancer Pie has his vet checkup tomorrow.  Mommy is a nervous wreck after Saturday's Vet disaster.  We hate to ask again, but we could use some purrs for Prancer Pie and the Mommy.  We'll update when we get home and later when the bloodwork comes in.

UPDATE:  Prancer Pie's V-E-T visit was changed to Monday at 4:15.  Now Mommy has to dread it all weekend, but gives her a little more time to get over Princess's departure.

Hi furriends, Precious here on your Tuxie Tuesday.  This pic is an old one of me helping Mommy out by testing her drink.  Mommy didn't realize how hard it would be to blog immediately after Princess leaving for the Bridge.  She's been slacking a bit and I will have to put the bitey on her if she don't pick up the pace, soon.

Mommy says she's trying to get around to everyone that left such sweet comments, but if she misses anybody she is sorry.  We all appreciate it so much.

Mancat Monday Mystery

Hi furriends, Princeton here on your Mancat Monday.  Mommy says these sweet pics belie my more wild side.  Here's the story:

Around 7 o'clock on Friday morning, she arose to feed the horde, clean the litterboxes, and well, you know the routine.  She noticed a Dixie bathroom cup (actually 4 of them) stuck together in the corner of the bedroom floor.  They had been chewed on.  A short time later, many more bathroom cups were found all over the bathroom floor.  Eventually Mommy realized that they were all over the house.  She said it looked like a frat pawty had taken place, only with smaller cups.  MOL!

Anyways, the kitteh code of honor is in effect and nobody's talking.  I ask you, furriends, is this a face that could do something like that?   HaHaMeow!  Happy Mancat Monday and purrs, y'all.
