BRRRRRR, furriends!  We had a cold front move through our area mid-day on Friday.  Within an hour, we dropped 20 degrees, had spittin rain, and howlin winds.  Our Mommy "beat a path" home  from running errands and turned on the heat.  It's gonna be cold (fur us Okies) all weekend.  Bye-bye summer!

So we are gettin our easy on, early this weekend.  It's great kitteh-pile weather, but I like to snooze on the back of the couch to keep an eye on Mommy. (she requires a lot of snoopervision)  Happy Friday and purrs, ya'll.

Hi furriends, Prancer Pie here.  I haven't done a furcast fur a while, so since we are experiencing warmer than normal weddurs, well, here we are.  We has had two days in a row ofur 65 degrees F.  One more day of 65 degrees + then we will drop back down in the 40s (fahrenheit).  No rains, either.  On one paw, we really enjoy cold weddurs cuz Dad lights the gas log fireplace.  On the udder paw, we get sum nice window whiffies.  Today, Princeton efun saw a  honeybee.  We hopes whatefur your weddurs, you're enjoyin them.  Happy Friday and purrs, ya'll.

Hello furriends and thank cod it's Friday! I was just loungin around tryin to take a baff, when Mommy starts in wif the flashy box. Dastardly thing.

We finally gots to run our heater, kittehz! We all lufs the heater. It was a chilly 40 degrees F (hey, that is chilly after 90) here this mawning. Unfortunately, next week we will need the AC again. ::sigh:: Then, the heat again! Yay! You get the idea. This is Oklahoma weather at it's finest.

Derby's purrthday  sure had a good 'tock turnout. Mommy says she doesn't think she's efur seen that many 'tocks in her life! (and that's a long time, kittehz) It was a blast! Gotta go, furriends. Purrs, ya'll.

Hey ya'll. The resident Tuxie reporting here. Happy Friday! Mom's gonna run around like a goose, this weekend. She's goin to sum sales, to visit the sis bean, and mebbe a trip to the local national forest. That will give me plenty of time to work that little critter, Princeton, ofur! Mebbe we'll efun haf a house-trashin!

Prancer Pie says the weather this weekend is gonna be great! Lots of winds, though. The sound of the wind makes us run throught the house like we're crazy! Next week, we may haf sum truly fall weather with sum rains. Prancer will let us all know ahead of time fur sure! Later, ya'll.

Frazzled Friday

Well, kittehz, here's the devastatin news. The kitten is here to stay, at MY house.**sigh** I'm just exhausted. This is no kind of a life fur a mature mancat such as myself. At least the weather is cooler and we had sum rain part of the day. That made fur sum good nappin. We furgot to mention that Dad is home fur two weeks (Yay!) after knee surgery (Boo!). We just luf it when all the beans are together. You might ask yourselves, "howz that workin out wif a crazed kitteh on the loose wif a dad on crutches?" Well, how in the Hello Kitteh do you think?!? Mommy locks the little critter up at night so we can all get sum much needed rest.

Is efurryone posting about Less Adoptable Pet Week? There are sum good stories out there. One of the kittehz that came befur us was FIV. Mommy says he was a great mancat. Thank cod it's Friday! Prancer Pie here with our Friday Furcast. We might be gettin a break from this dreaded heat kittehz! Mebbe as soon as this weekend! Mom and Dad and all the beans are talkin bout it. We hopes so. When it's nice outside, even us inside kittehz want to frisk more.

What do you kittehz think about my photos? Mom thought the last one was so funny she just had to add it! It looks like i haf human arms! MOL! We almost didn't get to post at all, cuz, Dad had to kill a (poisonous) snake on the front walk and Mommy is so afraid, that she gets all worked up. It was a water moccasin. It was about 3 feet long and it was thick! When Dad got the gun, we kittehz knew to go UTB! Precious was the only kitteh that came out and wanted to go sniff things out and snoopervise. Figures. Mommy didn't want any of those pictures on our bloggie. Sorry if we offended any snake lovers. Mommy is going to put the cold rag back on her head. Hello furriends, Prancer here! Furst, lemme say a big THANK YOU to efurrybody purring fur the AC. One motor later, it's working again! Yay! I'll be the furst to say that i luf my mommy, but, she's an easier purrson to luf, with a working AC. Cod luf her.

Second, I'm checking out this hurricane prediction path, and in my purrfeshional opinion, i think efurrybody on the east coast should throw the FF and Temptashuns in a bag and head out. Really, furriends, nothing is as impawtant as the safety of your luffed ones. So all ya'll be safe and if you stay home, make sure there's plenty of water, food, and litter. Fur the beans, too. Purrs, ya'll.

I'm in charge of the Friday Furcast today. Cod, it's hot. We had a short break last week and got a couple of inches of rain. Yay! Now, the hots haf returned with a vengeance! Triple digits fur the next 7 days! What's a kitteh to do? Sleep thru it, I say.  Now, I leave you with the famous lyrics of Nat King Cole:

 Hello furriends! It's time fur the Friday Furcast! We are very excited because as we mentioned earlier this week, the weather pattern finally broke! It was 77 degrees Fahrenheit today! It felt chilly to us! We've had rain showers the last three days! The next week, we are not SUPPOSED to haf any days over 100!  ( As you can see, the wind blew the rain on the glass door and dirtied it up.)  We know we've moaned and groaned about our situation, but there are people who are in worse shape than we are. Many west Texas towns haf completely dried up. These people need our purrs and purrayers!

We hopes efurrybody has a safe and happy weekend. We'll spend ours friskin and tusslin. Purrs, ya'll.

Friday Furcast

Hello furriends! Prancer Pie here with the Friday Furcast.  Well, kittehz, we haf had 31 consecutive days ofur 100 degrees Fahrenheit! Hardly any rain has fallen. We, in the weddur world call that "trace" rainfall. Our part of Oklahoma falls into the Extreme Drought territory. Now, all around there are fires, too. Please continue to purr fur our release from this weather pattern.

Be sure to check back tomorrow, as Precious was pretty rotten today  and Mom has the pics to prove it!
Also, many of our furriends need our prayers,  Miss Peach and Opus from Cat Naps In Italy sure could use them. Haf a great weekend. Purrs, ya'll.

Friday Furcast

Hello furriends, Prancer here to talk about that Friday Furcast! We haf about a 40% chance of rain Friday and Saturday! Yay! We still will be in those triple digits, but if we could lower our chance of fire, we would be so grateful. As we post tonight, we haf friends in a nearby town fighting a terrible fire. So, furriends, we would be so thankful if you could send up an extra purrayer today, for us, along wif those furriends we are purring so hard fur, Ayla and TBT at MarksMews, Daisy the Curly Cat, Mommy ML at Missy Blue Eyes, and Spats at the Taylor Catss.  We hopes efurryone has a happy weekend. Hello furriends, Prancer here. Happy Friday! We enjoyed efurryone's comments and "hotter than" sayings yesterday!  Mom says she is so glad this week is over! We gots in a lil trouble earlier today when momma spilled a bag a sugar. She went to get the sucky machine and when she gots back to the sugar sumbody had played in it! MOL!

Here's the Friday Furcast: The next 7 days will be in the triple digits and no rain in sight. Furriends, Oklahoma,  is not the place to be right now. But, it could be worse, did anyone see that dust storm video from Phoenix, Arizona? Skeery.
