Happy Thursday, kittehz! Prancer here sharing sum pics of Precious helping Mom unwrap her shopping. We luf shopping day (who are we kidding? efurryday is shopping day fur Mom) here at the house. There are so many whiffies and good things that come from the stores! Sum times Mom brings rotisserie chick-hen from the supermarket. That makes us wild! Other times, it's our stinky goodness and we can pick it out from a dozen sacks on the countertop. I luf it when Mom brings home leafy greens. I like to nom on them before she can get them to the fridge. This week was birthday week fur the sis bean and the niece bean. You know what that means kittehz? Wrapping paper, tissue paper, bows, and gift bags! Yay! It's like a little piece of heaven! That's what the sisfur is doing in the above photos. Snoopervising gifts. Well, gotta go, it's time to start putting together the furcast for Friday. Which reminds me, purrs and purrayers fur our furriends in Texas and Oklahoma, as they are having trouble with wildfires and many homes haf been lost. We are still purring fur those affected by Irene, too. Purrs, ya'll
We enjoy your enthusiasm about shopping and shopping bags...once upon a time they were fun for us, too, but sadly, they have lost their charm though I must admit that the occasional brown bag calls out to me and I must answer! HOWEVER, be there chick-hen or other stinky goodness in any place, I think we seniors would go through hell or high-water to get to it...did I really just say that? Me? ReplyDeleteYou guys are lucky! We almost never get to explore the stuff my human brings home. And when she goes to the grocery, the stuff she brings home is either in frozen boxes or, yuck, it is vegetables. So it is no fun.

We love paper bags - especially those big paper sack type - you know the ones you can do great ambushing from - mum's not so keen on those but why we wonder? We're puzzled haha!!

Don't you just love bags? I go nutty for the plastic ones, but basically any kind of bag will do! Did mom bring home any nice birthday treats for you?

ReplyDeleteThose wildfires are something else. We're glad we live in the 'best' part of Oklahoma in terms of the drought. I, Zoe, love when my mom comes home with bags of stuff - I LOVE sniffing plastic bags!!!!!!!

We like it when Meowm brings in bags too! Sometimes we smell foods that she will be eating! We like to poke our heads in those bags and check it all out! But we think the best is one of the things you mentioned.....TISSUE PAPER!!!!! We absolutely love the crinkling and cracking sounds it makes!

ReplyDeleteWe wuz shopping bags! Sometimes Mumsy will even put a little nip in them and tie the handles so it's closed up with air inside it. It's like a poofey air sack balloon with nip inside! Wow.
